Day one changes nothing: the same paper sheets you use today, scanned. When a line is ready, move it to on-screen capture — machine by machine, at the pace your plant sets. Both routes feed the same reports.

The operator fills in the same sheet as always. Someone scans the pile at the end of the shift, or photographs it with a phone. faktoree reads the marks, the numbers and the work order code.
Move up to on-screen capture
The same report, on a tablet or a shop-floor PC. Everything fixed — machine, shift, work order — is already filled in, so only the quantities get typed. Under a minute per report, with no sheet to scan.

What people ask before they buy
We already use Excel
Good. faktoree does not compete with Excel as an analysis tool. It solves the problem that comes before it: capturing production data in a structured way and producing the report without anybody retyping it. If you then want to keep analysing in Excel, export and carry on.
We do not want to change how the floor works
That is exactly why you start with the paper sheets you already use, scanned: nothing changes on the floor on day one. You set the pace of the move to on-screen capture — one line whenever you want, for as long as you need — and the reports are the same either way.
An MES is too much for us
faktoree is not an enterprise MES — that is the point. It is a light layer that digitises production reports and the insight built from them, and it goes live in an afternoon instead of a months-long project. If your needs are on another scale, we will tell you just as plainly.
We have no sensors
You do not need them to start. Shift, machine, work order, units, stoppages and rejects already give you enough to act on. Sensors measure in finer detail, but they demand installation and investment; the sheet you already fill in costs nothing. And the data you capture today keeps its value if you decide to go further tomorrow.
We are worried about security
Every company’s data is isolated: your people sign in with their own accounts and see only what is yours, and that isolation is guaranteed by the database itself — not by a setting someone might forget. All traffic is encrypted and the servers are in the European Union.
We have no time right now
